INFORMATION
Azza is also a foundation member of BGLMedia, who is sitting 2nd for premierships with 7. Azza’s last premiership came back in 2015, while Chis’ was earlier this year. AFL 23 will be interesting to see if Azza can hold Chis off. Azza is a self-proclaimed GOAT due to the fact he has the “Best comps played to premiership ratio” of anyone in the BGL. Azza is also known for towelling up JakeCass99 (ranked #1 on the AFL Live 1 leaderboards) and being a big player within the AFL Gaming HuB back in the day.

Gerald Giudicessi
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Where do we start with Gerald? Probably the most committed member the BGL has ever seen. Located over in the States (USA), he would get up at 4am his time to play his games, he just loved footy and the BGL that much. Unfortunately, the peer-to-peer nature of online connection works against Gerald, he still battled away through several comps to notch up a few wins. Gerald was well known for his morale, along with his social media presence on the BGLMedia YouTube channel. He hosted the Awards Night every comp, and also had a highlights show every week. We really do hope we see Gerald back in our competitions, or on one of our livestream Footy Shows/Award Shows etc one day soon. Never say never.

Timothy Wayne
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Tim joins the Hall of Fame due to the amount of work he does for the AFL Gaming HuB to this day. One of the key admins of the HuB, Tim has always been a man of initiative and always wanted the best for the HuB. Back in the peak days of the HuB, Tim ran leaderboards with different “weight” divisions as the AFL Live 1 leaderboards didn’t giver a true reflection of rankings. He is still an active poster to this day, and we can’t wait to see what plans he has ahead of AFL 23.

Azzarati
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Azzarati, the co-founder of the AFL Gaming HuB with Morts back in 2012 when Facebook communities weren’t that popular. Turns out they are. The HuB was absolutely pumping back in the day thanks to Azzarati’s leadership. Azzarati was in attendance for the AFL Gaming HuB “HuB Day” in 2014 which saw the first ever in-person AFL Gaming Esports competition. He didn’t come out on top that day, however it was great to see both co-founders in attendance in a successful day. Azzarati also well known for his “HuB Theme Song”.

Trent Crosling

INFORMATION
Trent was an active member of the AFL Gaming HuB from 2013-2017. He was unreal at the game, known for using Dusty Martin as a CHF with plenty of success. He was always in the top couple in the HuB Rankings and participated and came runner up at the HuB Day. We hope to see Trent around the traps again for AFL 23.

Josh Cook
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Cook is undisputedly the greatest player we have seen at AFL Live 1. From the way he used the ball, to his tactics and his temperament, it was very rare that he was defeated. It’s no surprise that Cook won the HuB Day over Trent, despite it being a cracking battle. Those 2 were always known for some very fierce battles. It’s also no surprise he was also top of the HuB Rankings. Fantastic bloke and fantastic competitor.

Jindrak
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Jindrak (formerly known as JT Lethal) was the founder of AFLGaming.com back in March 2012. Jindrak won 3 premierships for AFL Gaming during his days. Seasons would last a real AFL length which means one season a year. His AFL Gaming was the first AFL video game league hosted by it's own website and not Facebook. Jindrak would eventually participate in BGLMedia leagues but would retire from online competition due to losing interest in AFL titles developed by Wicket Witch games. Today he is back in a big way as the founder and CEO of Star Footy.

Chris Brine
Monk3ys Da Man
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Chris Brine or known on AFL Gaming and Xbox 360 as Monk3ys Da Man is the greatest Xbox AFL Live player. His tactics, cockiness and can back up every word. He has had great battles with Glen Burrows and Jindrak during his time on AFL Gaming. He was sitting 1st on the Xbox AFL Live leaderboards. If we really had to compare Chris Brine to a professional wrestler, it would be MJF. He has since moved over to the Australian Online Football HuB where he is an active member of the community.

CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Glen Burrows was on the same level as Chris Brine. Both players playing off in season one with Glen just getting the win. Glen had many skills on AFL Live and managed to get himself 2nd on the Xbox AFL Live leaderboards. He was known to have a temper on AFL Gaming but when he would calm down, he would chip away any score that was in front of him and 9 times out of 10 he would get the win. Us at Star Footy don't know what Glen Burrows is doing today but we all hope he is doing well.

Aladeen Junior
CONSOLE
INFORMATION
Aladeen was part of AFL Gaming for all six seasons. His biggest rival was Jindrak as both men played in 3 out of the 6 grand finals in a row. This rivalry was similar to Geelong vs Hawthorn back in the day where Geelong would always find a way over the line, this was a similar story here. It came in the last season where the biggest game in AFL Gaming history was played. Ben Kennedy was able to defeat Jindrak (18.13.121 - 17.15.117) for the first time after coming back from 39 points down and kicking a 52 metre goal from the boundary after the siren to win his first premiership. It will go down as the greatest AFL Live 1 match of all time. Aladeen has since retired from AFL Gaming online leagues and is now focused on family.

INFORMATION
Rocco also known as XboxKing was an original member of AFL Gaming. As every season would go on, he would improve each season. He managed to get his biggest upset win of his career when he defeated Jindrak in the semi-final (12.0.72 - 8.22.70) of Season Three. The XboxKing is still active on Xbox and hope he decides to make a come back for Star Footy.
